Fill a clear jar with familiar objects. Have everyone write a private estimate before the discussion starts.

Ask: What group or reference did you use?

Show a dense dot pattern for three seconds. Repeat the same number of dots in a more regular arrangement.

Ask: Why did the layout change the guesses?

Estimate the length, mass or capacity of an object before choosing a tool and measuring it.

Ask: Was the estimate high or low, and by how much?

Project one round, collect every estimate, then submit. The game reveals the exact count immediately.

Ask: Did you use grouping, flow rate or the final pile?
