about the game
how many are inside?
Amountle is a free daily estimation game: watch a pile form, trust your eyes, and call the count before the clock runs out. Five rounds, eight seconds each, same puzzle for everyone on Earth.
why it exists
I’m Isaac. I built Amountle because I wanted to know if I could guess how many things are in a jar. Turns out I mostly can’t — and that being wrong by exactly this much, every day, next to a leaderboard of other people being wrong by slightly different amounts, is weirdly fun. There’s no company behind it; I make the puzzles, answer the emails, and read every one-word object suggestion.
People kept coming back after launch without me running any ads, which is the only growth metric I actually care about. If you’re one of them: thank you.
free and ad-free
No display ads, no subscriptions. If you want to chip in, optional one-time support covers the servers — playing and sharing stay free either way, and nothing you can buy ever changes a score.
