How to play Amountle

Guess how many objects are in each of five piles. Closer guesses earn more points.

    Watch the whole drop

    Objects fall into the container. Drag to rotate it and get a better look at the pile.

  2. 02

    Enter one estimate

    You have 15 seconds. Type your estimate or use the number pad, then submit it before time runs out.

  3. 03

    See how close you were

    The objects count up to reveal the answer. You get points for how close you were, then the next round starts automatically.

Scoring

Closer estimates earn more points. Each round is worth up to 100 base points. An exact guess adds a bonus: one third of the object count, rounded to the nearest whole point.

Everyone gets the same daily piles. Practice has no timer and does not change your Daily score.
